At ZumoDO, privacy is a core feature, not an afterthought. We collect the minimum data needed to run the app and help you manage goals, projects, tasks, and lifestyle habits. We do not sell your personal data. Not now, not later.
We do not collect contact lists or precise location. Camera access is not used by ZumoDO.
ZumoDO's AI Assistant uses artificial intelligence to help you organize your thoughts into actionable tasks. Here's how it works:
Data sent to AI: Only the text you enter in the AI Assistant is processed. Your existing tasks, goals, notes, and other app data are not sent to the AI service.
AI data retention: Text prompts sent to the AI service are used to generate your tasks and are not permanently stored by ZumoDO. Our AI service provider may temporarily cache prompts for processing but does not use your data to train AI models or share it with third parties.
Free users receive 10 AI assists per month. Premium subscribers receive additional AI assists. You can always create tasks manually without using the AI feature.
We do not sell your personal data to anyone. If ZumoDO is ever acquired or merged, your data would be handled under this policy at the time and you'll receive advance notice with a chance to export or delete your data before any transfer.
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, export, object to, restrict, or delete your personal data. We honor these requests where applicable.

We keep your data for as long as your account is active, or as needed to provide the service. If you delete your account, we delete or de-identify your personal data, unless we must keep some of it to meet legal, security, or operational obligations (e.g., fraud prevention, dispute resolution, backups with limited retention).
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect your data. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect against unauthorized access, use, alteration, and destruction.
Your personal information is stored on Microsoft Azure cloud servers located in the United States (West US region). If you are located outside the United States, your data will be transferred to and stored in the United States.

By using ZumoDO, you consent to the transfer of your data to the United States. You have the right to withdraw this consent at any time by deleting your account. Your data will be protected to the same standard as required by GDPR, UK GDPR, and other applicable data protection laws.
ZumoDO is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child provided personal data, contact us and we'll delete it.
If we make material changes, we'll notify you in the app or by email before they take effect, so you can review them and decide whether to continue using ZumoDO.
